Research Interest: • Context: With the constant threat of nuclear disasters looming, understanding the role of nursing in such emergencies is crucial for effective response and mitigation efforts. Research aim: The study aims to highlight the advanced role of nursing in nuclear disasters, focusing on rescue, radiation treatment, and adherence to international protocols. Methodology: The research utilizes an analysis of the latest nuclear medical protocols to inform nursing practices during nuclear disasters. Findings: The study sheds light on the underdiscussed field of nursing in nuclear disasters and emphasizes the importance of preparedness in such rare but high-impact events. Theoretical importance: This research adds to the theoretical framework of emergency and disaster management by emphasizing the specialized role of nursing in nuclear disaster scenarios. Data collection and analysis procedures: Data was collected through the analysis of nuclear medical protocols, and findings were interpreted to emphasize the significance of nursing readiness in nuclear disasters.
